We are seeking an experienced and innovative Odoo Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, customizing, and implementing Odoo ERP modules to streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency. 

This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent coding skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored ERP solutions. 

Key Responsibilities


  • Module Development & Customization:
  • - Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Odoo modules based on business requirements.
  • - Customize existing Odoo modules and workflows to align with organizational needs.

  • Integration & Implementation:
  • - Integrate third-party systems with Odoo using APIs and web services.
  • - Migrate data from legacy systems to Odoo ensuring data integrity and system consistency.

  • System Configuration & Optimization:
  • - Configure and optimize Odoo settings to enhance system performance and usability.
  • - Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure the reliability of customized modules.

  • Technical Analysis & Documentation:
  • - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • - Create detailed technical documentation, including code annotations, user manuals, and process flows.

  • Maintenance & Support:
  • - Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Odoo modules and integrations.
  • -Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve system issues and improve existing functionalities.

  • Collaboration & Best Practices:
  • - Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • - Stay updated on the latest Odoo developments and industry best practices to implement innovative solutions.
  • - Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when necessary.

Required Qualifications


  • Educational Background:
    • - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Technical Skills:
    • - Proven experience with Odoo ERP (version 12 or later).
    • - Strong proficiency in Python and knowledge of PostgreSQL.
    • - Familiarity with web technologies such as XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • - Experience with RESTful APIs, XML-RPC, or JSON-RPC for integrations.
    • - Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.

  • Experience:
    • - Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing and customizing ERP systems.
    • - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality software solutions.

  • Soft Skills:
    • - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

 
  • - Certification in Odoo development or related technologies.
  • - Experience in agile/scrum development environments.
  • - Familiarity with additional programming languages or frameworks (e.g., JavaScript frameworks, Docker).
  • - Previous experience in an ERP consulting or client-facing role.
